Compare verifiable answers
Ask for the meeting point, course name, duration and who will teach you. A school should explain the initial goal and how exercises adapt to ability. A clear account of the process and its limits tells you more than a promise to learn in an exact number of hours.
Use four columns
Write down goal, organisation, inclusions and changes. Under organisation, record students per instructor and shared equipment. Separate gear from extras under inclusions. Under changes, note weather, personal cancellations and partial sessions. Complete the same columns for each offer before comparing prices.
Review the evidence
Look for a consistent location across the website and maps, staff information and reviews with an identifiable public source. Attractive images or a certification logo cannot replace those details. If a credential matters to your decision, request the name or reference needed to check it with the issuing organisation.
Recognise incomplete answers
“All inclusive” without a list, “guaranteed safety” or a price without a currency leaves questions unanswered. You need not turn your enquiry into an interrogation: send the missing points in one message. How they are resolved helps you assess the operation’s clarity before travelling.
