Ask for a component list
“Equipment included” should become a clear list: kite, bar, board and harness, together with protection appropriate to the exercise. Not every stage uses every item at once. Also ask who selects sizes and what happens if a suitable size is unavailable.
Separate equipment from services
Transport, photography, storage, drinking water and instruction are not kite components. They may be included in a package, but should be listed explicitly. A promotional photograph showing a boat or radio does not prove that resource is included in the option you are considering.
Prepare your personal items
Bring swimwear that stays in place, sun protection, a towel and dry clothes. Mention harness or vest fitting needs in advance so availability can be checked. Avoid buying technical accessories before knowing which items will be used in your introduction.
Check what you receive
On arrival, review the agreed equipment with the instructor and mention discomfort or an unfamiliar component. A useful question is: “What is this item for in today’s exercise?” Understanding what you wear and why is more helpful than assuming one complete set suits every activity.
