Send practical information
Include available dates, departure time, group size, recent experience, lesson language and equipment or transfer needs. Describe skills rather than saying “intermediate”. A useful message is: “One of us is new; the other can water start but cannot return upwind. These are our available windows. What format and total would you recommend?”
Separate enquiry from confirmation
An automatic reply or a course suggestion does not confirm a place. Request the service, participants, duration, currency, total and payment terms in writing. Distinguish the reserved date from the operating time, which may be confirmed later. Save the agreed channel for schedule changes.
Clarify payment and cancellations
Check the recipient before paying and distinguish the amount due now from any balance. Ask separately about customer cancellation, operator weather cancellation and a partly completed session. Establish how delivered hours are counted and what happens if your flight prevents rescheduling. This guide does not create a deposit percentage or refund policy.
Contact early, reconfirm near the session
Once you know your dates, enquire early for a specific language, group or multi-day programme. Advance planning allocates resources; it does not guarantee wind. At the agreed time, reconfirm location, start time, contact and what to bring. Avoid sending identity documents or financial details as part of an initial enquiry.
