Describe tasks and support
Explain what you need for arrival, moving around, changing and receiving instructions. A functional description helps more than a general label. Share only personal information necessary to assess activity arrangements.
Ask about the entire route
Request details of vehicle access, surfaces, distance to the meeting point and facilities. An accessible entrance does not demonstrate an accessible route throughout. Ask for confirmation of obstacles and available support at the actual session location.
Adaptations need confirmation
Do not assume the equipment or staffing can provide every adaptation. The operator should assess the request and explain what is available. Questions about medical fitness belong with the appropriate professional rather than a commercial promise.
Agree on an alternative
Before travelling, keep the response about participation, companions and possible changes. If the proposed activity is unsuitable, ask about another experience consistent with confirmed needs. Base the decision on specific information rather than a general claim that an activity is for everyone.
