Schedule immovable meetings and deadlines first, then share your remaining windows with the school. Wind does not follow a work calendar, so several options across a week provide more room than one free hour each day.
Calculate the whole absence
Include travel, preparation and changing as well as lesson time. Avoid scheduling a video call immediately after finishing at the beach. State any firm return deadline before confirming the block to prevent incompatible expectations.
Check where you will work
Verify connectivity and working conditions directly with your accommodation. Do not assume the beach or meeting point is an office, laptop storage area or power source. Prepare an alternative independent of the sporting activity.
Buy usable continuity
Before choosing a long package, ask how hours are distributed and what happens when your windows do not match the conditions. A lower hourly rate helps little if you cannot use it. Keep a shared record of sessions actually completed.
