Accompanying is not participating
Clarify how many people take the lesson and how many only accompany them. The instructor must focus on students and the exercise area. Ask where companions can remain without crossing lines or interfering with preparation and manoeuvres.
Check actual facilities
Shade, seating, toilets and food should be confirmed for the particular location. Do not infer these services from a beach photograph. Resolve any essential waiting requirements before travelling.
Plan separate activities
You can enquire about SUP or another available activity, but its timing and conditions need a separate assessment. A suitable kite day does not automatically suit every discipline. Each participant needs their own confirmation and meeting point.
Agree where to meet afterwards
Choose somewhere outside the manoeuvring area and a contact method for the finish. Sessions may adjust to conditions, so allow margin before meals or further travel. Companions taking photographs should remain in an authorised position.
